  • Can I request specific music to be played by the band?

    Yes, you can! We want to make sure your event is exactly how you envision it. We provide a form for you to fill out with your music requests before the event, and most of the time we can play well-known songs. If you have a specific song in mind that the band doesn't know, they will often learn it just for your event.

  • How long will the band play for?

    Each band has different options, but typically they perform a 45-minute set every hour. If you need the band to take a break, for example, to fit in speeches, just let us know. Our bands are flexible and will work with your needs!

  • Do you bring your own sound equipment?

    Yes, we do! For larger events (e.g. 200+ guests) there may be additional production charges, but we will inform you beforehand. We also provide a wired mic for you to use.

  • Do you charge for sound equipment?

    In general, no, we don't! 90% of our gigs are for the quoted price, and we will provide you with a booking form that includes all the details so you know exactly what you are getting.

  • Can we perform with the band?

    While we appreciate your enthusiasm, our artists are professionals with music degrees and years of experience. They have put in considerable rehearsal time to be ready for your event, and someone playing or singing along won't look or feel professional. We pride ourselves on providing quality, professional services - every time. For this reason, we don't allow guests to perform with the band.

  • What about travel fees?

    If your event is more than 50 km from the CBD, we charge a rate of $0.95 per km per artist for travel fees. If your venue is located within 50km of the CBD then you're in luck - its inclusive!

  • How do I contact you directly?

    We will provide you with our phone number and the contact information for the band at least 8 weeks prior to your event to discuss all the details and ensure everything is finalised exactly as you want. You can email us anytime!

  • What time will the band arrive?

    Bands will usually arrive and set-up 45 minutes to 90 minutes before their booking time. If you require the band to set up earlier in the day an additional fee may be required.

  • What if I have to cancel or postpone my event?

    Depending on the reason and the lead time, we will do everything we can to assist in either refunding or rescheduling your event.

  • Can I get a refund?

    Depending on the circumstances and the booking time we offer a 100% refund/reschedule/replacement option. All transactions are covered by the the appropriate state laws and we operate in good faith in all circumstances.

  • Can I see the band perform live before booking?

    In most cases, it's not possible to see the band perform live before booking. Our musicians are professionals who perform at private events, weddings, and corporate functions. They specifically tailor their music depending on the audience and location, and most events are private and not for public access. We may be able to provide you with clips or digital recordings of previous performances.
